The Eugene Irish Cultural Festival
On March 7th and 8th, 2008

This is the 5th year of the Eugene Irish Cultural Festival and it is happening the weekend of March 7 and 8. This is our 2nd year of collaborating with the University of Oregon School of Music.

To open the festival there will be an evening concert at Beall Hall with the Black Brothers, Gerry Carthy, Eliot Grasso, and Dave Cory -- all excellent musicians. Then, the following day, the daytime festival at Sheldon will be full of workshops given by these performers plus many more workshops that are not music-related, such as Irish stone masonry and Irish poetry. This year we are offering more
variety than ever before!
